Manfrotto 244N Variable MAGIC Arm

I finally got this mounted to hold a small LED panel for macro shots, and the 53 cm length gives me exactly the reach I need. The friction adjustment is smooth and stays put even under a bit of weight, which was my main concern.

The large locking knob makes adjusting tension so easy, even with gloves on, and the 53cm length gives plenty of reach for positioning my light exactly where I need it.

That big locking knob makes all the difference — I can dial in just the right amount of friction and it holds my light steady without creeping. The 53cm length gives me plenty of reach, and the 20mm tubes feel solid enough for heavier gear. Definitely my go-to arm now.
