Manfrotto 501PL Video Camera Plate

The metal plate feels solid and well-machined, fitting perfectly between my tripod and camera. Having both 1/4" and 3/8" screw options ready in the box saved me a trip to the hardware store.

Swapping from the included 1/4" screw to the 3/8" option took just a second, and now my heavy camcorder feels rock-solid on the tripod head. Nice to have both fixing sizes in one compact plate.

The 1/4" screw fit perfectly into my mirrorless camera, and the plate feels solidly machined. Depth is just right at 3.8 cm, not too bulky under the body. This replaced a flimsier generic plate I'd been struggling with.
