Finally, a cinema lens that focuses exactly where I want it to, even wide open at t/2. The all-metal housing gives it a reassuring heft, and the image quality is just stunning for the price.

Mounted it on my a7III and the manual focus throw is long enough for precise pulls, though it’s definitely a beast on a gimbal. Image quality out of the box matches what I’d expect

I’ve been shooting with this on my Sony for a few weeks now, and the image sharpness wide open is honestly stunning for a cinema zoom. The t/2 aperture lets in so much light that I can keep the ISO low even in dimly lit rooms.
