The black backing snaps on securely and instantly turns my umbrella into a more focused softbox. I noticed almost no light leaking around the edges during a portrait session, which gave me much better control over the background. Really pleased with how easy it is to put on and take off between shot

I was worried about light spill hitting my backdrop, so this backing was a perfect solution for my 85cm umbrella. It’s easy to attach and really does cut out those two extra stops of unwanted light.

I was tired of my backlight spilling onto the background, and this black backing solved it completely. It fits snugly over the 85cm umbrella and blocks that extra light just like it says. Definitely worth the small investment for cleaner shots.
