Manfrotto 022 7kg Counterweight

The weight distribution on this counterweight is exactly what I needed to stabilize my rig. It clamps securely to my 30mm tube without any wobble, and 6.7kg is hefty enough for studio work.

The clamp’s grip range is perfect for my 35mm rig, and it holds rock solid without shifting once tightened. At 6.7kg it’s hefty, but that’s exactly what you want for balancing a heavy setup.

It was surprisingly easy to slide onto my 35mm tube and the clamp locked it down firmly—no wobble at all. The solid 6.7kg of weight instantly stabilized the whole rig, which made a big difference during a windy outdoor shoot. Really glad I grabbed this instead of a sandbag.
