The swivel spigot on this baby plate makes adjusting the fixture angle effortless, even mid-shoot. It feels solidly built at just under a kilo, and the compact 9cm length fits nicely in my grip bag.

The build feels solid enough, but for the price I expected the locking mechanism to be smoother. It works fine for my smaller LED panel, though I wouldn't trust it with a heavier fixture.
