Finally got to use these on a portrait shoot and the geometric shadow patterns added just the right mood. They clicked onto the MagBeam easily and stayed secure the whole time.

I was skeptical at first, but the first pattern I projected onto a backdrop gave my portrait a unique, moody feel that I couldn't achieve with gels. The magnetic attachment to the MagBeam is really satisfying—it clicks right into place without any fuss.

I was a bit skeptical about how sharp the projected patterns would be, but even at close range the leaves and stars come through crystal clear with my MagBeam. Really adds a professional touch to portraits and still lifes without being too complicated to set up.
