Finally found a hex stud that doesn't strip after a few uses—the 1/4"-20 male thread on this one is precisely machined. It locks into my superclamp without any wobble, which is exactly what I needed for securing a light.

The brass construction feels properly solid, and the 1/4"-20 thread mates cleanly with my light’s receiver. Slipped it into the superclamp and it held at a steep angle without any wobble. Exactly what I needed for a quick rig change.

Finally got this to lock down my superclamp properly — the 1/4"-20 male thread into the 5/8" stud is a perfect fit. The brass construction feels solid and should hold up well under studio use.
