Hoya HMC UV standard 62mm

I was expecting just basic UV protection, but the multicoating on this filter does a noticeable job cutting the haze on my landscape shots. The threads are smooth, and it's become a permanent fixture on my lens without affecting color balance at all.

Shot a whole roll of black and white outdoors and the sky stayed crisp with no haze, even in that harsh midday glare. Left it on as a permanent lens protector and haven't noticed any drop in sharpness or contrast.

Finally, a filter that doesn't mess with my color film's tones. The UV absorption really cuts through the haze on bright days, and it's so thin that my lens cap still fits perfectly.
