Ilford Galerie Cotton Artist Textured 310gsm 25 feuilles A3

This paper handles thick washes of ink surprisingly well without buckling, and the deep texture adds a lovely hand-made feel to digital prints. The detail in my fine-line botanical drawing came through sharp against the rough surface.

The textured surface gives watercolor prints a convincing handmade feel, and the 310gsm weight keeps the paper from buckling even with heavy ink coverage. It’s a bit pricey for casual use, but for final prints the quality is undeniable.

Switched from my usual smooth paper to this textured sheet for a project, and the 310gsm weight made it feel really substantial. The mould-made rag surface gave my prints a subtle watercolor vibe that I wasn't expecting. Only gripe is the texture can soften fine details slightly more than I'd like.
