Profoto Softgrid 50 degree 1x1,3'

The 50-degree grid snaps onto the softbox securely and really tightens the beam for a more focused look. It cuts down spill perfectly when you're trying to light just the subject without painting the whole background. Definitely worth it for controlling the light on set.

I was worried about harsh shadows on set, but this grid tames the spill just enough to give a nice, controlled falloff. The recessed front of my softbox clicked right into it without any fuss. For the price, it delivers exactly the beam control I needed for product shots.

The 50° grid cuts the spill exactly where I need it, and the hook-and-loop attachment is quick to line up. It’d be nice if the price were a bit lower, but for studio control it’s well made.
