Rode NT1 5th Generation Black

Switched from an older condenser and the built-in digital output on this one makes recording directly to my interface so much cleaner. The low self-noise is incredible, barely any hiss even at higher gain levels.

Picked this up for my home setup, and the hybrid USB/XLR connectivity is a game-changer—switching between digital and analog workflows is seamless. The sound is incredibly clean and quiet, with almost no self-noise, which made my voiceovers sound professional right out of the box.

Setup was completely painless, and the dual output really simplifies my recording setup. The built-in 32-bit float recording is a lifesaver for capturing loud vocals without any clipping distractions.
