Manfrotto 394 Quick Release Plate Adapter

Having both the 1/4" and 3/8" screws in the box saved me a trip to the hardware store, and the built-in spirit levels are a nice touch for keeping horizons straight. It clicks right into place on my existing head without any wobble.

The 3/8" screw fit my heavy tripod perfectly, and swapping plates is now a breeze. Those two spirit levels saved me from crooked shots on a sloped rooftop.

Swapped out the old screw adapter for this one and the 3/8" thread fits my heavier setup perfectly. The plate slides in and locks tight with no wobble, and having both screws included saved me a trip to the hardware store.
