Kodak Portra 400 ISO 120 film

The skin tones on this Portra 400 are incredibly natural, even in mixed shade and sunlight. I was worried about the low contrast description, but the saturation still pops enough for my portraits.

I shot a whole roll at a golden hour wedding and the low contrast handled harsh sunlight without blowing out the highlights. Even the pastel bridesmaid dresses looked true to life, not washed out or overly vivid.

The skin tones come out so smooth and natural, even in mixed lighting, which is exactly what I hoped for with that low contrast look. I shot a roll at a weekend picnic and the colors stayed vivid without getting harsh or oversaturated. This is my new go-to for portraits, hands down.
