Benro Gimbal Head (PL100 Plate)

The quick release plate makes swapping between my camera rig and spotting scope effortless, and the bubble level is a nice touch for quick setups. It feels solidly built and handles my heavy telephoto lens without any sag or creep.

The 25kg load rating is no joke—I’ve got a heavy 600mm rig on this and it locks solid with zero drift. The PL100 plate slides in smoothly and the knob tightens with satisfying certainty. Weighing under 4 pounds, it’s hefty but manageable for a gimbal this capable.

Carrying my big telephoto lens setup feels rock solid with this head—handles the weight without any drift. The PL100 plate clicks into place securely, way easier than my old setup. Just wish they’d added a bubble level for quick tripod leveling.
