Aputure RC1 Wireless Remote Control

Bought this to control my 300D from across the room and the range is surprisingly solid even through a wall. The dial response is immediate and I no longer have to walk over for every tweak.

Paired it with my C300D in under a minute, and the response lag is practically zero even from across the room. The dial feels satisfyingly clicky for adjusting brightness, which I didn’t expect from such a compact unit. Solid buy for anyone already in this light ecosystem.

Finally, I don’t have to walk back to the light every time I adjust intensity; the RC1’s dial is precise and smooth. Setting up group control with my C120D II took seconds, and it’s been rock-solid from across the room.
